Fortunately, I chose to trust that everything would resolve in its own time and decided not to stress about it. I believed it would come back when the time was right\u2014and it did! \ud83d\ude42 So grateful. &lt;3<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"775\">A lot has happened since then, and I wanted to share some updates with you\u2014both from a creative and a personal perspective.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"777\" data-end=\"1248\">Let\u2019s start with the most exciting news: I recently released a new single\u2014my very first original song written entirely in my native language, Slovenian! I have to say, I\u2019m incredibly proud of it. Writing in Slovenian has always been a challenge for me\u2014I struggled with finding the right rhymes, and sometimes there just aren&#8217;t perfect words for certain emotions. On top of that, I was hesitant to express my vulnerability in a language understood by those closest to me.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1554\">You see, not everyone around me understands English, so writing in English always acted like a protective filter. It made it easier to share my feelings through music without worrying that family or close friends would understand every word. Despite wanting to be fearless, I was afraid to be truly seen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"1884\">But here it is\u2014a song fully in Slovene, and I&#8217;m so grateful it finally came to life. I also want to thank the children I work with at the elementary school. At the time, they were only 8 years old and didn\u2019t understand much English, so they encouraged me to write something in Slovene\u2014and of course, I couldn\u2019t let them down. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"2121\">If you haven\u2019t heard the song yet, I\u2019d love for you to check it out. They have a special program where they present different towns across Slovenia\u2014their cuisine, culture, tourist attractions, and of course, music. I\u2019m truly honored and humbled to have been part of this beautiful experience. I got to share stories about our town and perform my original music\u2014including &#8220;Lep\u0161i svet.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2613\" data-end=\"3053\">Another amazing thing I\u2019d love to share is that our town is currently hosting the oldest known musical instrument in the world\u2014a Neanderthal flute, carved 60,000 years ago from the leg bone of a cave bear. This year marks the 30th anniversary of its discovery. I feel truly honored and inspired to live so close to such a significant artifact. It\u2019s an epic space, full of character. Rather than describe it further, I\u2019ll just leave you with a picture. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/visitkoper.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Taverna-foto-arhiv-MOK.jpg\" alt=\"Taverna Koper \/ St Mark's storage - Visit Koper\" width=\"630\" height=\"366\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They host all kinds of events there\u2014from concerts to cultural gatherings. Here\u2019s also a photo of our wonderful team who made the radio show (aired on Radio Koper on June 23rd) such a memorable experience. But no one in my circle really goes hiking. Everyone has their reasons: time, energy, health\u2026 all totally valid. Still, I reached a point where I told myself: &#8220;Now\u2019s the time. I can\u2019t wait forever for someone to join me.&#8221; So I geared up and went on my first hike\u2026 then my second, my third\u2026 and I loved every minute of it. Still do. With or without company, it feeds my soul.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4161\" data-end=\"4344\">Luckily, here in Slovenia we\u2019re blessed with incredible mountains\u2014from the Julian Alps to others.
